Slipknot Heretic Anthem Drum Cover Trey B
Shit has not been cooperating. Stuff is messed up. All good - life happens. This song felt right in terms of what I needed to just let it out. I know the shit ain't exact so.......yeah. It's not even close to exact. The end has some really distinct stops, pushes and pulls on kick patterns......there are extra notes on the snare and floor build ups.....just a fair number of things. There's a Morgan Rose influence and I know you speak highly of Randy Castillo. It's just a lot of fun watching you and you really put the hammer down. How did it feel to use a splash type cymbal? Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........there's one I hadn't thought of! GREAT suggestion and do not be surprised if I do give that one a try. NIN has so many great tracks. To be honest, watching the drum cam footage from Ilan on here - that's something that is a gift to so many drummers. Watching him play The Perfect Drug live is heaven in its own right.
